The Community Foundation of West Georgia is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Power of the Purse Spring Luncheon, a signature event celebrating women, philanthropy, and the lasting impact of collective giving across Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties. This year’s luncheon is chaired by Katie Williams, whose leadership and dedication to service guide this year’s gathering.
The one-hour luncheon, themed “The Stories We Grow,” invites Power of the Purse members to experience firsthand what their generosity has helped accomplish. Attendees will hear directly from past grant recipients and see how member support has strengthened local nonprofits, expanded opportunities, and improved the lives of women and children throughout West Georgia.
“This luncheon is an opportunity for our members to witness the impact of their giving,” said Kim Jones, President of the Community Foundation of West Georgia. “It brings donors and community partners together to celebrate what we have achieved collectively and to see how Power of the Purse continues to create meaningful change for women and children across our region.”
