The former Wingate Inn in LaGrange has reopened as a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, bringing updated accommodations to the area.
The LaGrange Troup County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting during a Business After Hours event to celebrate the opening. Guests toured the property, which includes a pool, fitness center, meeting space, and renovated suites designed for both business and leisure travelers.
The hotel offers a convenient and comfortable option for visitors and is expected to support local tourism and business travel. Three attendees at the event also received raffle prizes of 15,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
