UWG Announces Expansive 2026 Summer Camp Lineup

The University of West Georgia is preparing for an exciting and diverse Summer 2026 season, offering a wide range of immersive camps for rising kindergarten through 12th grade students across its Carrollton and Newnan campuses. Designed to spark creativity, innovation and hands-on learning, the programs provide meaningful academic enrichment in engaging, age-appropriate environments.

Among the featured programs is Film West, where middle and high school students explore storytelling, filming, and production inside Miller Hall. Young innovators can dive into hands-on design and engineering in MakerSpace at The Garage, while tech-minded students bring light to life in BrightBytes: LED Animation Lab at the Dr. James ‘Earl’ Perry Building (formerly the Technology-Enhanced Learning Center). Creative expression continues with Art West, offered in multiple sessions, and Photography West, where students capture compelling visual stories through the lens.

STEAM-focused learners in elementary grades can participate in the popular Wolves Exploration STEAM Camps, featuring themed experiences such as Bug’s Life, World Travelers, Space Odyssey, Little Picassos, Tiny Tech Explorers, and Land Before Time. These camps combine science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through hands-on discovery and imaginative projects.

Additional offerings include Eco-Explorers in Newnan for young environmental enthusiasts, Science West for middle and high school students eager to experiment and investigate, Esports camps for both elementary and secondary students focused on teamwork and strategy, American Sign Language for Grades 3–6, and Earthly Artists, which blends art and nature-inspired creativity.

With programs spanning film, science, art, technology, language, gaming and environmental studies, UWG’s 2026 summer camps provide students opportunities to explore interests, build confidence, and experience learning on a vibrant university campus. Registration information and program details are available through the University of West Georgia’s summer enrichment office.
