Teams representing first responders will try to outrun each other July 18 when the Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department hosts the second annual Guns N’ Hoses Challenge Chase, the second event of the 2026 Run Carrollton Race Series.
Guns N’ Hoses will start at Carrollton City Hall at 7am and feature two and four-mile distances. Participants will support the city’s first responders – the Carrollton Police and Fire departments – by choosing either blue for police or red for fire to represent in the race.
The series features four races (including the Carrollton Half Marathon) over the course of the year covering a range of distances, from a one-mile speed race to a challenging 10K. The series’ first race, Pavement to Park, was held May 9.
