Double Vision Brings Foreigner Tribute to The AMP

Double Vision, the nation’s premier Foreigner tribute band, will bring the music of rock’s original juke box heroes to Carrollton’s Amp at Adamson Square, July 18, beginning at 8pm.

Foreigner is a British–American rock band formed in New York City in 1976 and is one of the best-selling bands of all time. With hits like Waiting for a Girl Like You, Juke Box Hero, Urgent, I Want to Know What Love Is, Hot Blooded, Cold as Ice and, of course, Double Vision, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band has sold more than 80 million records worldwide.

Boasting some of New Jersey’s top professional musicians, Double Vision brings the classic hits and rock energy of the 1970s, ’80s and ‘90s hitmakers to stages around the world. Double Vision also recently signed to Frontiers Music, achieving a milestone as one of the first tribute acts in the world to secure a record deal. The band features vocalist Chandler Mogel, drummer Scott Duboys, guitarist Chris Schwartz, bassist A.D. Zimmer (who toured for ten years with original Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm), keyboardist Alex Lubin and guitarist Stephen DeAcutis.

This concert is sponsored by Scott Evans Nissan and Scott Evans Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram. All Amp events are free and open to the public. Chairs can be put out the day of the show. No professional or flash photography is allowed. For a complete list of Amp events and rules, visit www.carrolltonga.com/downtown/amp.
