Ugly Betty and Groove Gypsies will bring rock of the ages to downtown Carrollton’s premier music venue, September 18, as The Amp’s concert series continues.
Presenting the best of the hard-rocking 1970s, ‘80s and beyond, Ugly Betty is a west Georgia music mainstay. The hugely popular band features Ric Christman on vocals, guitar and keys, Michael Harris on guitar, Ben Marshall on bass and Kevin Lyle on drums.
Groove Gypsies plays an eclectic blend of popular rock and blues hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ’90s. The Gypsies can be heard all around west Georgia and beyond at corporate functions, receptions, festivals, clubs and other special events. The band is made up of vocalist Dana Lee Rampy, guitarist and vocalist Lynn Agan, keyboardist Brendan Bowen, bassist and vocalist Mike Helton, bassist, guitarist and vocalist Richard Fisher, guitarist and vocalist Buddy Wohar and drummer Rick Bilbo.
