New location will bring urgent care, primary care and occupational health services together with on-site X-rays and lab testing.
Sargent, Georgia (Sept. 18. 2026) — Tanner Health plans to open Tanner CarePoint in Sargent in January 2027, bringing a range of healthcare services together in one convenient location for residents of Coweta County and neighboring communities.
Located at 2005 GA-16, Suite 105, the new practice will offer urgent care for everyday illnesses and minor injuries, primary care appointments, occupational health services, on-site X-rays and lab testing. Walk-in urgent care and online appointment scheduling will make it easier for patients to get care when they need it.
“When you’re sick or need a doctor, you shouldn’t have to spend time figuring out where you need to go to get the care you need,” said Daniel Feckoury, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician at Tanner CarePoint. “As the name suggests, Tanner CarePoint is designed to be a starting point for care — whether you need urgent care right away or an appointment with a primary care provider.”
The Sargent location will expand convenient access to care for residents near Newnan and surrounding areas, providing a place to turn for both unexpected health needs and ongoing primary care.
Tanner CarePoint will also partner with local employers to offer occupational health and corporate wellness services, including treatment for work-related injuries, physical exams and screenings that support workplace safety and compliance.
“By offering this level of care in this region, we will be able to serve both patients and employers more effectively while providing more access to care tailored to how people live and work,” said Dr. Feckoury.
As part of Tanner Health, Tanner CarePoint will connect patients to the organization’s network of providers for additional services and specialty care when needed.
Once open, Tanner CarePoint in Sargent will offer daily hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. An exact opening date will be announced closer to January.
