Central High School special education teacher Ms. Tamra Huffman was recognized by Southwire and awarded the “My Favorite Teacher” Southwire award today. Ms. Huffman received a check for $1000 to spend on her students and classroom as part of Southwire’s giving back initiative. Ms. Huffman’s students nominated her stating how thoughtful she is to stay in touch even after they graduate from high school. Mr. Joe Wimberley presented the check along with Principal Mr. Kelly Edwards and Assistant Principal Ms. Annie Charles.
