Some construction is happening around the former First Georgia Bank building off South Carroll Rd in Villa Rica. Recently Five Points Realty out of Florence, SC purchased the bank building in May. The owners of Five Points Realty are Ron Lyles and Hank Lyles. The pair are real estate developers who keep properties long term. They also own an Ace Hardware store in Florence, SC. Local businesses maintain their properties in all aspects. The building will be completely renovated and an additional 4,000 sq feet is being added to the first floor, making total first floor 9,000 square feet. The brand new tenant downstairs in the former bank building will be the Social Security Administration offices. All new construction and renovation will be totally complete for move in around Jan or Feb 2014.
