As one of our followers of The Carrollton Menu calls it, an old fashioned downtown bank on the corner will be closing in May. We received reports of Bowdon’s SunTrust bank closure earlier this week but the information was confirmed today by the bank. This building has been the landmark of the city for years. Before SunTrust it was Trust Company Bank and before that The Commercial Bank. Hopefully the building will not remain empty for too long. With Bowdon being a new Georgia Main Street City things are looking UP! We wish the very best for the employees of this branch.
