The Grillage has new ownership as of Monday December 5th, 2011. The original owners also owned The Border and Samba Loca. My guess is they are preparing for the Loco Mex location on the Square and needed to sale one of their restaurants to offer more. An employee with The Grillage, tells the Carrollton Menu that the new owners moved swiftly in signing papers on Monday so the location could reopen on Tuesday December 6th under the new ownership. Personally I think the ownership move is a great move, this will allow the previous owners more focus on their other restaurants within the city. Also there will be a name change very soon. The Grillage is an alternative to Moe’s.
