Heard Chamber invites you to come out Saturday evening and enjoy great food, good music, bull riding, bungee jumping, face painting, train rides, and a fantastic fireworks display.
Bullseye Bonanza will bring a mechanical bull and shooting gallery. You can try your luck or just observe those not so lucky. Challenge your friends to a duel!
Roach Entertainment will provide a 20 ft tall bungee jump and numerous carnival style games.
Come and dunk your favorite, or least favorite, fireman in EMA’s dunking booth.
Foods include funnel cakes, bar-be-que, ice cream, snow cones, hamburgers, hot dogs, philly sandwiches, ribs, turkey legs, donuts and wings along with many, many others.
Event sponsor Walker Cadillac Buick GMC will provide an assortment of vehicles for you to view.
Seating is provided on the square for eating or watching the concerts on the green.
This year’s entertainment will include two prominent local acts. Hunter Flanagan is scheduled to play from 5:30 to 6:30. Hunter is a local 15-yr.-old singer who has performed at Disney World, performs solo on Sundays at Six Flags, and has been the opening act for Country Legend Gene Watson. The main event, Carrollton’s own HomeGrown will play from 7:00 until the fireworks and then will follow up afterward with street dance music from 10:00 until 11:30 PM. Both acts can be seen on YouTube or their respective websites.
At 6:30, you can win cash prizes and enjoy some cool, delicious watermelon by entering the watermelon eating contest sponsored by Piggly Wiggly. We’ll provide you paper towel to clean your face.
Stay after dusk for one of the best fireworks displays over the Chattahoochee River.
SummerFEST begins at 5:00 on the square in downtown Franklin.
