Sand Hill Elementary has gone 3-D. We are installing a new computer lab for our students that has 3-D capabilities. Students will be able to use their Zspace computers in the areas of life science, mathematics, social science and Earth and space science. Through zSpace AR/VR STEM Labs, students work in pairs to problem solve with experiments that are normally too elaborate, expensive, or dangerous for the classroom.
The technology allows students to view and interact with thousands of biological and anatomical structures, ranging from cells to human and animal bodies and body systems. The goal is to give students experience applying core concepts that will be beyond what a student could see in a regular classroom.
