Established in 1976, West Georgia Podiatry is the longest-standing podiatry practice serving Carrollton and the surrounding communities. The clinic is known for providing specialized diagnosis, care, and treatment of foot and ankle disorders for patients of all ages, including children.
Patient care is provided by doctors Kenneth Danis and William Clark. Dr. Danis has been in practice at West Georgia Podiatry since 1995 and is now joined by Dr. Clark.
Together they provide care and treatment for all issues with patients’ feet and ankles. Dr. Danis says, “We are the specialists with the most extensive knowledge, training, skills, and experience to provide the best, most comprehensive care for all foot and ankle conditions.”
Some of the services offered include custom molded orthotics and insoles, laser treatment of fungal nails and spider veins, management of gout and other arthritic conditions, ingrown toenail removal, plantar fasciitis, warts on the foot, and more. They also offer evaluations and treatment of heel pain and spurs, bunions, pediatric foot or ankle problems and diabetic foot conditions, including preventive care and shoes. They also specialize in sport and other injuries of the foot and ankle, and comprehensive ankle and foot surgeries.
“In all, we offer a breath of services that include both surgical and non-surgical procedures. We are a full-scope podiatric care provider that continues to expand. We have a sincere focus and personable approach to the care that we provide,” explained Dr. Danis.
Dr. Danis is a New Jersey native whose family moved to south Florida during his teenage years. He later came to Atlanta, attended Emory University where he obtained a degree in biology, and then continued his education at Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1992. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery as well as diabetic limb loss prevention and salvage.
Dr. Clark, who is new to the team at West Georgia Podiatry, was born and raised in North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving his Bachelor of Science in biology. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His training focused on complex adult and pediatric foot and ankle deformities including specialized training at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Clark tells us, “I am happy to return home here in the south. I am thankful for the warm welcome that Carrollton has extended to me. The strong working relationships that our office has with local medical providers allows us to work better together. If you have anything happening with your feet, please come see us.”
