Temple Temporarily Cancels Recreation Activities, Modifies Senior Center, and More

The City of Temple released the following statement in regards to their response to COVID-19:

“In support of national, state, and local efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we want to advise you of precautionary measures that the City of Temple will be taking, including some closures in our departments:

SENIOR CENTER: will be closed for all activities until future notice. Meal deliveries will continue as usual; if you eat at the Senior Center for lunch, take-out meals will be available for pick up.

RECREATION DEPARTMENT: All activities are CANCELLED until future notice; the gym is also CLOSED.

CITY HALL is open. The lobby area is closed. Please go through the drive-thru (8:00 am-4:00 pm) to pay your water bill or business license. You can also pay your water bill online: www.templega.us, place your payment in the drop box in the drive thru, or pay over the phone by calling: 770-562-3369, ext 107.

MUNICIPAL COURT: The court dates of March 20th and April 3rd have been reset. Letters are being mailed to advise everyone of their NEW court dates.
