In early March we reported that Hibachi Express located at 530 Bankhead Highway in Carrollton caught fire. The restaurant has remained closed since then as construction crews made extensive repairs. Owner Caitlin Yang is happily able to report that Hibachi Express should reopen by July 3, pending a final inspection from the city. She says, “We are so happy to reopen the restaurant. We’ve missed seeing all our customers.”
Construction crews are finishing up the exterior of the building. The inside has been completely remodeled. In April the restaurant donated 2,700 masks to the Tanner Foundation to help keep frontline workers safe. To learn more about Hibachi Express visit their Facebook page by clicking here.
