A second major construction project will start soon at Central High School in Carrollton. This project includes the demolition of some old classrooms along with renovations and new additions. Renovations are set to include the kitchen and other structural improvements. Also, there is word of almost 22,000 square feet being added with new classroom wings. This information comes courtesy of an open record construction website. The Carrollton Menu has not contacted school officials for additional information regarding this construction project. Based upon my knowledge, J&R Construction and Culpepper Construction Company of Georgia will be handling the massive project. Central High School has already gone through some amazing building transitions since my graduation back in 2004.
