Community Foundation of West Georgia Awards Over $285,000 to 27 Local Nonprofit Organizations

The Community Foundation of West Georgia has announced the recipients of its 2024 Community Impact Grants. This year, over $285,000 in grants has been awarded to 27 local nonprofit organizations, supporting initiatives that enhance arts, education, the environment, and social services in Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties.

“These grants are a testament to the vibrant nonprofit community in West Georgia, and we are thrilled to support these impactful projects,” said Kim Jones, President of CFWG. “By investing in local organizations, we’re fostering growth and collaboration, helping our region thrive.”

The grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life in West Georgia by supporting a wide range of projects that inspire creativity, advance education, promote environmental stewardship, and uplift social services.
