Playa Bowls, announces opening into Peachtree City, Georgia. A new acai and smoothie bowl restaurant with a beach theme is coming to Peachtree City in the Peachtree Crossing Development. Playa Bowls, with its surfboards, mermaids, palm tree paintings and multiple TVs, offers fruit-based blended bowls with an assortment of toppings to choose from, smoothies, oatmeal bowls and coffee.
Guests at Playa Bowls can pick from a menu of superfruit bowls or custom design their own, choosing from a variety of bases and toppings including fresh fruit, seeds, nuts, granola, dried berries, and nut butters. Playa Bowls also offers a selection of oatmeal bowls, fresh juices, cold brew and smoothies. Playa Bowls can be made vegan, gluten-free, and can be adapted to integrate into Whole 30, keto, and Paleo diets.
The new Playa Bowls location is co-owned by Nick Ransom, who began working with the company in New Jersey. He has since relocated to Atlanta to focus on expanding the concept in the area alongside 7 other previously opened locations in Peachtree Corners, Alpharetta, Milton, Chamblee, Sandy Springs & Athens, Sugar Hill Georgia. This is co-owner Josh Williams second endeavor into Playa Bowls. Williams has been an avid Playa Bowls fan since 2014, starting with being a regular guest at the original Playa Bowls cart on the Jersey Shore.
The shop’s grand opening will be on Saturday April 26, 2025. The doors open at 10am and Playa Bowls has something rad for the first guests! The first 100 guests will receive a FREE bowl on the menu! The first 50 guests will also receive a free, custom-Playa Bowls shirt! The shop will have a DJ, giveaways, and some fun planned for Grand Opening Day!
Playa Bowls will occupy 1200 sq ft of retail space in the Peachtree Crossing shopping center. The center is anchored by the large grocer, Fresh Market.
Founded by avid surfers Robert Giuliani and Abby Taylor in New Jersey, Playa Bowls has spent the last nine years developing its national footprint. Today, the brand operates over 300 shops across the U.S.
Playa Bowls offers a customizable experience with seven base ingredients to choose from, including acai, pitaya, coconut, and oatmeal. The acai is 100% homemade and sourced directly from Brazil. From coffee to cold pressed juices to an array of smoothies, Playa Bowls has something for everyone!
