A section of Main Street, from Peters Street to Whitesville Road, will be temporarily closed to traffic this week as a part of the ongoing Georgia Department of Transportation, or GODT, Hamilton Road widening project.
Crews will be performing utility relocation in this area from Monday, July 21st to Wednesday, July 23rd. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route during this time.
Motorists can also expect to see other road closures in the future as part of GDOT’s Hamilton Road widening project. Please continue using caution when driving through this area.
