Local nonprofit RTCA Helping Hands Outreach is set to be the proud beneficiary of an inspiring fundraiser hosted by Sculpted Body Renewal on September 6, 2025 — a glamorous event celebrating business, beauty, and giving back.
Founded by Angela Harrison, RTCA (short for Reaching Through Community Action) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to providing mentorship, support, and resources to youth ages 10–17 in the Carrollton and Carroll County area. With a mission built on personal experience and a passion for service, Harrison started the outreach last year under a different name before evolving the brand into RTCA Helping Hands Outreach — a name that better reflects the heart and purpose behind the work.

“At RTCA Helping Hands Outreach our mission is simple — to make sure no child misses out on opportunities because of cost. From summer field trips to our dream of building a community gym with a food bank and clothing closet, everything we do is about lifting up our neighbors and creating a safe, inspiring space for our youth,” said Harrison.
Growing up with limited access to resources, Harrison recognized firsthand the need for community-based programs that provide real support to underserved children. Today, RTCA is doing just that — mentoring local youth, organizing community activities, and helping children succeed in school and life.
The outreach has already hosted back-to-school giveaways, end-of-school celebrations, and local outings. Last year the group even rented a van to take children on summer trips to the zoo, amusement parks, and other fun destinations outside of Carrollton — a tradition they hope to expand with the help of new donors and supporters.
“No child should miss out because of cost — that’s why we do what we do,” Harrison said.
RTCA is currently focused on its mentorship program, helping youth navigate academic, social, and personal challenges. They serve as both a resource hub and a safe space for young people to thrive.
The upcoming fundraiser hosted by Sculpted Body Renewal promises an evening of elegance and empowerment. The gala, celebrating the business’s third anniversary, will highlight beauty services, community impact, and philanthropy — with proceeds benefiting RTCA’s programs and future expansion.
Angela Harrison shared her excitement about working with Sculpted Body Renewal’s founder, Bianca Forbes, saying, “She surprised me with the news — I was so honored. I met Bianca earlier this year at the Women’s Extravaganza event, and I’ve admired her ever since. She’s passionate about her business and her community, and I’m truly grateful she chose to support us through this gala.”
RTCA isn’t slowing down anytime soon. On October 12, they’ll host their “Blessings in a Bundle Gift Giveaway” outreach event at either The Bridges or Horizon Bay in Carrollton. Youth involved in the mentorship program will take the lead in giving back — handing out essential items and showing others what it means to serve your own community.

The event is open to all ages, and volunteers or sponsors are welcome. Those interested in supporting RTCA’s work can reach out directly to Angela Harrison for more information about how to get involved.
Whether it’s attending the fundraiser gala on September 6, volunteering at an event, or making a tax-deductible donation, your support helps RTCA expand their reach and fulfill their mission of equity, empowerment, and community connection.
