TCR Towing and Recovery expanded their capabilities earlier this summer with the addition of a 2024 Kenworth rollback. This expansion increases their bed size from 19 feet to 22 feet, enabling the transport of dually trucks, ambulances, and vehicles weighing up to 12,000 pounds.
TCR is family-owned and operated by longtime Bremen residents, Tommy Ray and TC Ray.
Speaking about the new truck and its vibrant shade, TC explains “We chose the color yellow for the truck in honor of my mother, Patricia W. Ray, as that was her favorite color. We have also ordered sunflower decals to place on all of our trucks in remembrance of her.”
In addition to providing towing services for local ambulance providers, TCR proudly contracts with twelve municipalities as the first call for roadside accidents and emergencies. One of the region’s only qualifying towing companies, TCR achieved the Towing and Recovery Incentive Program (TRIP) certification by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The program primarily focuses on the safe and swift clearance of large commercial vehicles.
Celebrating their 44th year in business last spring, TCR has been West Georgia and Alabama’s choice for both light and heavy duty towing and hauling, roadside assistance, off-road recovery, equipment hauling, and rotator work. Starting in Bremen, GA in 1981, Tommy Ray grew the business along I-20 to include satellite offices in Carrollton, GA and Heflin, AL.
