After nearly three memorable years serving the Turin community, BobbyMac’s has announced the upcoming closure of its beloved storefront. What started as a simple dream grew into a space where community, connection, and kindness came to life, far beyond anything the BobbyMac’s family ever expected.
In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook in early October, Christina, the heart behind BobbyMac’s, shared the difficult decision to close the store. Citing ongoing health challenges and the need to prioritize her well-being, family, and time with grandkids, Christina expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support the store has received since its opening.
“This choice comes after much prayer and reflection,” she wrote. “As many of you know, ongoing health issues have made it clear that it’s time to slow down and focus on what matters most, my health, our family, and our sweet grandkids.”
BobbyMac’s has always been more than a place to shop. For many in the community, it became a gathering spot where shoppers quickly became friends. From its charming displays to its warm, family-like atmosphere, BobbyMac’s created a space that touched countless lives. Christina and her team have built more than a business, they’ve built a community.
“While this chapter of our storefront is coming to a close, we hope you know how much your kindness, loyalty, and love have meant to us,” Christina continued. “We’ve met the most wonderful people, created memories, and formed relationships with so many of our customers that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
Though the storefront will close, BobbyMac’s plans to transition online, offering a way for loyal shoppers to stay connected and continue supporting the brand. Details about this transition, along with some final closeout deals, will be shared in the coming weeks.
To celebrate the store’s final day, BobbyMac’s is hosting a very special farewell event on Saturday, November 29, from 4 to 6 PM. Families and friends are invited to gather for an afternoon of holiday fun, complete with photos with Santa Warren, a hot cocoa bar, and a letters to Santa station. Hosted by Kristy Lyle with KM Homes, the event will be held at BobbyMac’s location at 4929 Hwy 16 E in Turin.
This event marks the store’s final day open to the public and promises to be a joyful celebration filled with warmth, gratitude, and a little Christmas magic, the perfect way to honor everything BobbyMac’s has meant to the community.
Christina and the entire BobbyMac’s family extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shopped, supported, and stood by them over the years. As this chapter closes, their message is clear: the love and support from the community will never be forgotten.
Thank you for believing in a dream, and for being part of the BobbyMac’s story.
