The City Menus Closed Until Tuesday, May 26th for Memorial Day Weekend

Hi everyone! We will be taking time away from The City Menus until Tuesday, May 26th. Our content will be rolling again at that time. You can visit www.thecitymenus.com to enjoy catching up on things you might have missed during the break. Whether you are enjoying time at the beach, hanging out by the pool with family and friends, reading a book, or just watching your favorite movies and tv shows, please take a moment to reflect on what Memorial Day is truly about. It is a day of remembrance for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Keep in mind: The Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park Association presents its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Saturday, May 23rd at the Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park on Newnan Road in Carrollton. Music will begin at 10:30 headed up by Terry Lowry and approximately 100 musicians. The ceremony begins at 11:00 celebrating our Nation’s 250th Anniversary. Colors will be presented by the Carrollton High School Air Force Junior ROTC Cadets, and Jim Swinson is the Keynote speaker. Jim represents the Sons of the American Revolution and will be in a uniform that reflects that period in our history.

Should adverse weather conditions be anticipated, the ceremony will be conducted at the Carroll County Recreation Center Gym across Newnan Road from the park. To learn more click this link https://ccvmp.org/event/2026-memorial-day-event/

Again, have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend. See you back on Tuesday!
