A new FedEx location appears to be coming to Newnan, with leasing information for Newnan Promenade identifying FedEx as the future tenant for approximately 2,500 square feet of retail space formerly occupied by Capital Tacos and, before that, Moe’s Southwest Grill.
According to marketing materials for the shopping center, the space is slated for a FedEx operation at Newnan Promenade, the retail center near Walmart. Leasing for the property is handled by Bridger Properties, whose latest flyer lists FedEx as the incoming tenant for the vacant storefront.
While specific details about the Newnan location have not yet been announced, it is possible the store could resemble the existing FedEx Office Print & Ship Center located at 106 Pavilion Parkway, Suite B, in Fayetteville. That location offers shipping services, printing, copying, document services, package pickup and drop-off, and other business-related solutions.
FedEx has continued expanding its retail footprint through FedEx Office locations, which serve both individual customers and businesses with a variety of shipping and printing needs. A similar concept in Newnan would provide a convenient option for residents and businesses on the city’s growing east side retail corridor.
At this time, FedEx has not publicly announced an opening date or confirmed the exact format of the Newnan store. Additional details are expected to emerge as the project moves forward.
