Cafe 1485 announced Tuesday that it will soon be relocating to a larger space in Newnan, taking over the former Shirley’s Country Kitchen location at White Oak Center, next to Harbor Freight.
The move comes just weeks after Shirley’s Country Kitchen closed its Newnan restaurant and returned to its hometown of LaGrange.
In a social media post, the Cafe 1485 team shared its excitement about the expansion, thanking customers for their continued support and noting that the restaurant has outgrown its current location. While a grand opening date for the new restaurant has not yet been announced, Cafe 1485 said it will continue serving customers at its current location until the move is complete.
The restaurant emphasized that while the new location will offer more space and a larger kitchen, customers can still expect the same welcoming atmosphere and popular menu items that have made Cafe 1485 a local favorite.
“Because of you, we’ve outgrown our little spot,” the team wrote, expressing gratitude to the community that has supported the business over the years.
Cafe 1485 said it will provide updates on the transition and opening date for the new location in the coming weeks.
