The City of Carrollton will mark the opening of the Playground at Hobbs with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, August 28 at 11:30am at Hobbs Farm Park.
The playground features:
- Traditional playground equipment with all-inclusive accessible structures
- A sensory music garden
- Complete access for all needs with a rubber surface throughout
- Vast amount of shade including covered pavilions
- Double-width access ramps
The new inclusive playground will be open for all ages and all abilities. It joins a fitness court, globally ranked disc golf course and the Carrollton GreenBelt among Hobbs Farm Park’s amenities. The playground has been under construction since March.
