Rome could soon be getting a new drive-thru coffee option. Architectural plans show 7 Brew Coffee planned for 2219 Shorter Avenue (near Sam’s Club), bringing the rapidly growing drive-thru concept to the area.
According to the plans, the project calls for construction of a 750-square-foot prefabricated drive-thru-only coffee shop. The building would include approximately 510 square feet of main building space along with a 240-square-foot cooler area. The property is located within a B-2 General Commercial District.
7 Brew is known for its drive-thru-focused setup, offering a wide selection of coffee drinks along with energy drinks, teas, smoothies and other specialty beverages. The company’s smaller building footprint and drive-thru format have become a familiar sight as the brand continues expanding into new markets.
An opening date is not included in the plans, and the project will still need to move through the necessary development and construction process. The City Menus will keep an eye on the Shorter Avenue location and share additional updates as the project moves forward.
