A new home furnishings retailer appears to be preparing to enter the Fayetteville market, with Dumos Home reportedly taking over a large storefront at Fayette Pavilion.
The retailer is expected to occupy the former Conn’s HomePlus location at the shopping center. The space has seen several major retail names over the years and was previously home to Bed Bath & Beyond before Conn’s moved into the property.
Dumos Home sells furniture and home furnishings, including products for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and other spaces throughout the home. The company also has physical storefront and warehouse operations in California, making the Fayetteville location a notable expansion into the Georgia retail market.
The arrival would bring another large-format home retailer to Fayette Pavilion, one of Fayette County’s largest shopping destinations. Located along the busy retail corridor in Fayetteville, the center is home to a wide mix of national retailers, restaurants and service businesses.
An opening date for Dumos Home in Fayetteville has not yet been announced.
The planned store also comes as Fayette Pavilion continues to market additional vacant spaces to prospective tenants. Several storefronts remain available for lease, suggesting more retailers could eventually join the center. At this time, however, the names of any additional incoming businesses are not known.
The reuse of the former Conn’s and Bed Bath & Beyond building is another sign of activity within the shopping center as property owners work to fill larger vacancies left behind by national chains.
Dumos Home maintains an online presence at dumoshome.com, where shoppers can browse the company’s furniture and home furnishing selection.
More details about the Fayetteville store, including an expected opening date, store hours and hiring information, are likely to become available as work on the location progresses.
