The change of seasons is in the air as the Carrollton Wind Ensemble presents itsFall Concert, October 17 at the Center for the Arts.
The show will include autumn-inspired classics like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Night on Bald Mountain and Carrollton’s own Derek Able’s composition, Menace.
“These are pieces I love because they are such enormous fun,” said the CWE’s director, Terry Lowry. “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Night on Bald Mountain and Carmina Burana are full of color, drama and energy and I think the audience is going to have a great time hearing what the Carrollton Wind Ensemble can do.”
The show starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15, $10 for youth, and can be purchased online at carrolltonarts.com, by phone at 770-838-1083 or at the center’s box office at 251 Alabama Street.
