The award-winning, super-premium ice cream company is expanding into South Metro Atlanta for the first time, bringing its signature from-scratch flavors and neighborhood scoop shop experience to The Avenue Peachtree City.
(PEACHTREE CITY, GA) October 15, 2026 — Today, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams — the ice cream company on a mission to bring people together over the world’s finest ice cream — announced its first-ever scoop shop in South Metro Atlanta, opening at The Avenue Peachtree City on November 5, 2026.
The opening marks a new chapter for Jeni’s in Georgia, extending the brand beyond its established Atlanta-area footprint. With existing scoop shops concentrated in Atlanta and communities north and east of the city, including Decatur, Marietta and Alpharetta, the Peachtree City location brings Jeni’s to a new part of the region for the first time.
Located at 232 City Circle, the new shop will be part of The Avenue Peachtree City, a walkable destination featuring restaurants, boutiques and community gathering spaces that draws families, friends and visitors from across South Atlanta. With the city’s extensive network of golf-cart paths connecting surrounding neighborhoods to The Avenue, Jeni’s will be an easy stop for an after-dinner scoop, weekend outing — and a new spot to enjoy something splendid.
Behind the new shop is local franchise partner Missy Moon, an experienced restaurant operator who has spent more than seven years building businesses in the area. A longtime Jeni’s fan, Moon has loved the brand for more than 20 years and is now bringing the experience she’s enjoyed with family and friends to her hometown.
“Jeni’s has always felt like more than ice cream to me — it’s about bringing people together and creating moments that make people happy,” said Moon. “I’ve been a fan for more than 20 years, so the chance to bring Jeni’s to Peachtree City, a community that means so much to me, is incredibly special. To celebrate the opening of the Peachtree City shop on Thursday, November 5, Jeni’s will host a special grand opening event from 6–10 p.m, inviting the community to enjoy complimentary ice cream and special giveaways. Highlights include:

Available at opening, the holiday lineup will feature returning favorites White Chocolate Peppermint, Pistachio Macaron, Boozy Eggnog, Cranberry Panettone with Chocolate Sprinkles and Black Tie, alongside Jeni’s all-new Sticky Toffee Pudding flavor.
