A new art gallery and creative space is coming to downtown Grantville. Local Color is preparing to open at 16 Main Street, Suite B, bringing art, design, and creative experiences to the city’s historic downtown area.
Founded by Ignacio Alvarez, an artist and interior designer raised in Georgia, Local Color will feature original artwork, sculptures, unique objects, and thoughtful design. The gallery will also serve as Ignacio’s working studio, showcasing rotating exhibitions alongside an ongoing collection of his own work. His vision is to bring art and people together while celebrating handmade craftsmanship and creativity.
Beyond the gallery, Local Color will offer hands-on workshops, intimate gatherings, and special events, giving visitors another reason to explore downtown Grantville. The space is expected to open in mid-November, according to signage displayed in the storefront windows.
Once open, regular hours will be Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Additional information is available at www.localcolorga.com.
