A familiar restaurant in LaGrange is getting a new name. Fried Tomato Buffet, located at 127 Commerce Avenue, Suite G, will officially become Preston’s Southern Buffet on November 15, 2026, according to a notice posted in the restaurant’s window.
The restaurant will continue serving the same food with the same team customers have come to know. The notice, signed by Preston, thanks customers for their continued love and support while reassuring them that the name change will not affect their dining experience.
A trade name registration filed in Troup County identifies LaGrange Restaurant Group, LLC, along with Preston and Angel, in connection with the Preston’s Southern Buffet name.
The restaurant remains open and operating as usual in the shopping center as preparations continue for the November 15 name change.
