New Senior Living Housing Approved by the City of Carrollton

UPDATE Project has been approved by the City of Carrollton.

A new senior living housing complex is being planned in north Carrollton on Northwinds Connector and Wisteria Lane. A rezoning request was recently submitted to the City for a 9.93-acre tract of land near the street that connects Highway 113 and Highway 27.

According to information from the City of Carrollton, the requested rezoning is from C-2 (General Commercial) to C-3 (Neighborhood Commercial) with the Senior Housing Floating Zone, by applicant CRN Development, LLC.

Plans show that the complex will have 102 rental units available for active adults at 55 years of age or older.

A Planning Commission hearing has been scheduled for November 14 at 6 p.m.

The City also says it anticipates that the Mayor and City Council will hold an additional public hearing on this request December 4.
