I finally figured out where the entrance to this new hair studio is. As it turns out, there is a door towards the back of the building. Leasing agents are trying to get the front of the former Pig Pen building all leased. An art studio was supposed to be open in the front of the store but plans shuttered. There was also a former UWG bookstore in this location but that fell apart as well. The hair studio is called “Smitten” and looks very appealing in this neat, log cabin style building. The Carrollton Menu mentioned “Smitten” a few months ago but at the time it was hard to tell if they were actually open since repeated phone calls went unanswered. Now, I can confirm that they are successfully open for business. This building is on Highway 27 in Carrollton next to the Pizza Hut.
