According to a flyer being passed around Bowdon, Value Foods will close before the new year. Value Foods closed their Ranburne location in April. They actually had the Bowdon location listed on Craigslist for a little bit as well. That has since been taken down. From the looks of the flyer, Value Foods will close on December 29th with 75% off the entire store. Value Foods is located behind the City Hall in Bowdon. I personally thought Bowdon could support two grocery stores, but I turned out to be wrong. Value Foods will be missed and was open for almost a full year. They opened on January 6th of 2012.
