According to several construction plans, RaceTrac is potentially interested in this former car dealership at 1211 Thornton Rd for it’s new gas station. The records state that it would be a 6,000 square foot gas station. The RaceTrac would be one of the new concept stores that you are seeing being built all over Metro Atlanta. Construction would possibly start around Spring 2014 once everything is approved. Currently RaceTrac has a gas station a mile or so north of I-20. This spot would put it below I-20 at Blairs Bridge Rd.
