Mt. Zion Middle School FBLA Students Win at Region Conference

Region Conf.

(Carrollton, Ga. – January 30, 2015) F​BLA members from Mount Zion Middle School attended the Region 7 FBLA Conference at North Paulding High School on January 27, 2015. Of the 10 students who competed, six placed in the top five among the Region 7 competitors and received medals. These students will advance to the FBLA Middle Level State Leadership Conference in Perry, Ga. on February 24, 2015. The The MZMS FBLA advisor is Mrs. Tewanna Brown.

Brooke Brown – 1st in Personal Financial Concepts, 3rd in Marketing Concepts Christina Luallen – 5th in Internet Concepts
Linda Markham – 2nd in Personal Financial Concepts, 2nd in Business Concepts Carrina Moreland- 1st in Internet Concepts, 5th in Computer Concepts

Alex Nguyen – 4th in Business Spelling Emily Phillips – 4th in Internet Concepts

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is the managing partner of Ridley-Teal Properties and content editor for the City Menus. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
