Glanton-Hindsman Elementary Wins 2015 Academic Competition

(Carrollton, Ga. – March 18, 2015) The Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School Academic Team won the Carroll County Elementary Academic Competition held on March 12, 2014, at Mt. Zion Elementary School. Bowdon Elementary School finished in second place, Central Elementary School in third place and Sharp Creek Elementary School in fourth place. The competition was sponsored by Carroll County Schools’ Partners In Education, Amy L. Brown, State Farm Insurance, Publix of Carrollton, Ruby Tuesday, and Mt. Zion Elementary PTO.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is the managing partner of Ridley-Teal Properties and content editor for the City Menus. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
