Pride of Temple Concert Band Receives Top Ratings

(Carrollton, Ga. – March 19, 2015) T​he Pride of Temple Concert Band received all “Superior” ratings for their on stage concert performance and sight reading performance at the Georgia Music Educators Association’s Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE). The evaluation was held on March 12th at Woodland High School in Cartersville. The concert performance judges commented on the student’s “flawless” performance. The Pride of Temple Concert Band, directed by Mr. Chuck Jindrich, performed three pieces: “Allied Honor March” by Karl L. King; “Poeme” by Todd Stalter; and “Echoes of Ireland” by James Swearingen.

The band will perform their LGPE program along with other musical selections at the Third Annual Tiger Pride Music Festival. The festival will be held at the AMP in downtown Carrollton on May 5th. In addition to the Pride of Temple Concert Band all of the music programs from the Temple Cluster Schools will perform selections.
