It is with great excitement that the Carrollton Trojan Band Boosters and Carrollton High School Band Program officially announce our marching band competition, Legacy of Champions! Our inaugural debut, of this annual competition, will take place this fall on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 on the gorgeous 130 acre campus of the Carrollton City School system, in historic Grisham Stadium. Months of preparation have already taken place just to get us to this point as we strive to lay the foundation for a successful event that we hope will become the gold standard of marching band competitions within the state of Georgia. We are anticipating a wonderful event filled with great performances and we sincerely hope that everyone in the Trojan Nation will join us in our efforts to showcase our wonderful band, school, and community. Our next Competition Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26th at 6:00pm – 7:30pm in the band room. We would like to invite anyone interested in volunteering for the event to join us at this meeting as we move into our next phase of planning. For more details about the competition and to find out how you can help through volunteering or sponsorships, please visit the competition’s website at: legacyofchampions.net
