Mt. Zion High School STEAM Club Boat Race

(Carrollton, Ga. ­ May 15, 2015) The Mt. Zion High School STEAM club had their first annual cardboard boat race on May 13th at John Tanner Park. They had 5 teams compete in the race with various designs. The group that won the race consisted of Antonio Brown, Dillon Lovell, and Daniel Anderson. Dillon and Daniel rode in the boat and rowed it to victory. In second place was the boat created by Cameron Brown and Ben Sizemore.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy.
