Villa Rica Elementary 5th ​Grade Quest Students Win First Place and Perform at No Place for Hate Awards Ceremony

(Carrollton, Ga. ­ May 15, 2015) Fifth Grade Quest students from Villa Rica Elementary School assembled a No Place for Hate Team to promote kindness and prevent bullying. Their original work, the W​e Are One project, won First Place in the Elementary School Media Category of the Anti­Defamation League’s No Place for Hate: Imagine a World Without Hate Contest.

There were over 700 entries representing schools from across the Southeast Region. These students performed once again at the No Place for Hate Awards Ceremony at the Kennesaw State University Museum for History and Holocaust Education on Sunday, April 26th.

My name is Jimmy Beck I am a lifelong Carrollton resident. I love the Carrollton community and all it has to offer. I am currently a Senior at Kennesaw State University studying Business Management, with an expected graduation date of Summer 2015. I have a passion for sports business and social media.
