(Carrollton, Ga. May 15, 2015) Fifth Grade Quest students from Villa Rica Elementary School assembled a No Place for Hate Team to promote kindness and prevent bullying. Their original work, the We Are One project, won First Place in the Elementary School Media Category of the AntiDefamation League’s No Place for Hate: Imagine a World Without Hate Contest.
There were over 700 entries representing schools from across the Southeast Region. These students performed once again at the No Place for Hate Awards Ceremony at the Kennesaw State University Museum for History and Holocaust Education on Sunday, April 26th.
