Have nothing to do this weekend? How about coming heading west to our neighbors in Villa Rica Friday and Saturday for the Thomas Dorsey Birthplace Festival. Begins Friday at 6pm with Friday night Jazz performed by David Pippen and Live Exchange at the Mill Amphitheater downtown. Saturday afternoon at 3pm, come for Saturday gospel performed by The Wardlaw Brothers and the Thomas Dorsey Birthplace Choir at Mt Prospect Baptist Church. Afterwards, head on over to Mill Amphitheater to watch Saturday Blues with local artists and David Gerald at 6pm. Local vendors will be selling food and displaying arts and crafts at all three events and of course admission to the music and event is free. A great local festival this weekend.
