As the Carrollton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau director and current president of GA’s US Highway 27 Association, I’m excited to let you know our community and others along the highway’s route are featured in the Fall/Winter issue of Friends of GA State Parks’ “Georgia’s Great Places Magazine.” There is an extensive Highway 27 feature and a story on the West GA Textile Heritage Trail. These features are the result of the combined efforts of the Hwy 27 Association, the Friends of GA State Parks, the WGTHT staff at UWG, the magazine staff and all the communities along the route, just to name a few.
