A community is made whole again after a January fire displaced dozens of residents and an entire unit had to be rebuilt. As of today Century Arbor Place is leasing out building 200 which caught fire during the midday hours on January 24. The fire caused a huge outpouring of support from other residents as well as city residents, donating clothing, furniture, and food. Most of the residents who were displaced rented other units throughout the complex, while a few went to stay with family while the building was being rebuilt. The new apartments have already been leased to a few new tenants and are quickly being filled in one of Douglasville’s most sought-out apartment complexes. We kept up with progress throughout the year and reported to you on the construction being done on the building. Very happy to see a community become whole again, and hope the displaced residents and new ones to the building can breathe a sigh of relief and move forward.
