Providence Elementary Donates to Help Soldiers’ Angels

(Carrollton, Ga.  September 14, 2015) The students at Providence Elementary School donated fruit cups and tuna kits to help Soldiers’ Angels make lunch boxes for homeless veterans to be given out at an event called “Stand Down”. At this event, homeless veterans will receive a haircut, a hot shower, free medical advice, shoes, and clothes. They will also take a lunch box made by Soldiers’ Angels away with them that can be eaten at a later time. Providence students donated a total of 243 fruit cups and 136 tuna kits.
