Central Marching Pride Wins Grand Championship

(Carrollton, Ga. – September 28, 2015) ​The Central Marching Pride competed in the Wolverine Classic at West Forsyth High School earning all superior ratings in all areas possible and 1st place honors in OPEN Class and Gold Division for band, color guard, and drum major and 2nd place for drumline. Drum Majors Shae Browning and Emily Justice earned the highest score of the entire competition. The Marching Pride was presented with the Contest Grand Championship for receiving the highest overall score of the entire competition, with a 97.1 out of a possible 100. This marks the 35th Grand Championship the Marching Pride has received.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy.
