Sharp Creek Elementary Sponsors Canned Food Drive

Canned Food

(Carrollton, Ga. – December 8, 2015) The K-Kids Club at Sharp Creek Elementary recently sponsored a canned food drive to help support Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Mt. Carmel uses the food to assist families in our community during the holiday season. The K-Kids Club members set the can collection goal for 1,000 cans. However, the students actually collected 1,140 cans. The K-Kids Club members collected the cans from the classrooms each week leading into the holiday season. At the end of the drive, the students helped load and package the cans for delivery.
